Our Story

Fox Road Productions, Inc. was created in 2018 to encourage the development of media and publications on the art, history, ecology, and culture of the Annapolis, Maryland area.

We support local artists by developing compelling and beautiful exhibitions and catalogs of their work. We try to uncover the untold or mostly forgotten histories of the area, by listening for voices that need to be heard. And we provide organizational support and fiscal sponsorship for projects that should be brought to life.

Fox Road Productions gratefully accepts donations to help promote our mission. We are a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation (Tax ID: 83-1972997) and all gifts made to this organization are tax-deductible to the extent provided by state and federal law.

Board of Directors

Gwen Manseau, President & Founder

Gwen founded Fox Road Productions as a way to tell the stories about the Annapolis area that make the region special; this includes Annapolis Stories, an oral history initiative that uses the mapping and video capability of smart phones to present voices and memories of the many communities that make up Annapolis. Gwen is a lawyer by training, and has worked in the federal government, for non-profit organizations, and at several start-up internet companies; many years ago she was an acquisitions editor at Cambridge University Press. Gwen received her AB in comparative literature from Princeton University, and her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. She lives and works on a farm near the Chesapeake Bay.
